My story started with a lifelong struggle against oily skin. Excessive sebum, redness, irritation, even seborrheic dermatitis were constant in my daily life. I tried everything—harsh cleansers, strong actives, dermatologist treatments, even lasers. None of them worked. Instead, my barrier weakened, my redness worsened, and my sensitivity only grew.
After years of frustration, I realized the truth: the oil and redness were not the real problem. They were only symptoms. The real culprit was a compromised skin barrier. That single discovery changed everything. I stopped chasing miracle cures and started focusing on restoring the foundation of my skin.
The Discovery That Changed Everything
The answer came in the simplest form: soaking cotton pads in saline water and letting hydration deeply absorb. This humble DIY ritual rebuilt my barrier and became my non-negotiable daily practice. It was here that I learned the hard truth—your skin type doesn’t change, but your skin condition can. And through consistent barrier care, real transformation is possible.
From that moment, I began to see skin health differently. True wellness isn’t only about what you put on the surface—it begins within. Balance, nourishment, and daily consistency matter most. But one question remained: how can busy people, overwhelmed by daily life, maintain such a ritual?
